Just read this article and am not sure it i like the sound of it

http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~rja14/tcpa-faq.html

This means that we will not be able to download music (some people might think this is good), and do a lot of other things on our computers.

I dont thik i will upgrade to a "trusted computer"

What about you guys?

I think this is such a bad idea, it's just a way for the big companies to control what the people are doing. I already hate the licensing idea (when I buy something I should be able to do whatever I want with it as long as it doesn't affect anyone else)

The whole "not playing pirated music" idea is really bad IMO, who is to say what is pirated and what is not. If I rip a cd on to my computer so I can listn to the music on my computer, is that pirating?

All in all, I don't like the Idea, and I will never "upgrade" any time soon.

you shouldnt pirate code, its that simple, but if you buy it legally, after you have done so you should be able to do whatever the hell you want with it, as long as you dont turn around and sell the revised code... and i dont like the idea of turnong control of my computer to ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!
