Twitter isn't shortening URLs anymore ?

So I checked the Twitter account I update with a daily wallpaper using their API today, and apparently since the 17th of November Twitter has just been including the real links instead of the bi.ly shortened versions.
I checked the source, the links are actually there.
Albeit with the nofollow gimmick attached.
I thought Twitter was bad with the spam before, but I might quit reading notification emails from Twitter all together after seeing this.
