lol rat. I think it looks cool.
I think that as more and more people get these "future" cars, they will have to invent some extremely advanced piloting software. Its going to end up being nearly impossible to land and take off with people going over 300 MPH, especially in big cities. I predict that before these things can be mass marketed, they are going to have to design a very advanced auto-pilot/warning system. Theres no way that those things are going to be safe without it.

or we could all just take a high speed super sidewalks, hell lets just invent teleportation ;)

while comp traffic is an ok idea. a "sidewalk train" or something would use less recourses. and with comp controlled traffic you don't actually drive, just get in a car and sit there till you reach your destination.

there is also the fact of computer load by the number of veichals, and you obviously cannot have the entire would on the same system (lag problems) so how do you ransfer 'cars' from one system to another.

oh did I forget to mention viruses could cause a big problem?

Yeah, I agree.
Thats the reason I believe that this is going to take a long time to perfect. Honestly, you will need a computer program of some sort to pilot, because there is no way that millions of people flying these things all over is gonna be safe!

I like the transportation idea though. Ill have to work on that one......

lmao @ rat wtf were you drinking dude? I had to google that word before I even knew what you were talking about!

Despite a bus being supposedly economical, it's cheaper for me to drive 8 miles to work than to get the bus every day... thats crazy to me :?

yes, damn them for wanting you to have clean air
the clean air might even end up having less people in hospitals
meaning you taxes would go down from less unhealthy people

as for costing less, it is on a case by case basis:
is it cheap to drive when you are stuck on a gridlock highway for hours a day, wasting a ton of gas?
if you are only 8 miles away, why don't you bike?

there are also more fuel effecent veichals for motoring around, such as small electric ones, and mopeds (WOO 8) )

lol, I have been officially silenced........sorta.
Why is that all the senators complain about then?
And why dont they do anything helpful, INSTEAD of just complain?

oooooh Boy!!!! Politics!!!!! Have at thee then!!

LOL, im playin around, There are good and bad points to everything. You dont like the higher tax because you dont use the buses. Fine, but think of the people who cant afford to buy a car and hove no transportation to the otherside of the city without the bus?? But then again, how many people dont use the bus, why should they pay for it? This debate could last for years, so I think its safe to say: To each his own. However dont let that distract you, Im enjoying hearing both sides of the tale!!!:D:D
