Dude! I saw these on the telly a couple of years ago, the first prototypes.

They are so cool, bet the licence is a bitch to get your hands on.

How much are they?

£324000.00

= 0.5 million US, or 3/4 million CAD

I think you could get away with a normal pilots licence for this car

pilots licences are relevitly easy to come by, easier to get then a drivers licence in most cases.

the question is do we all have half a million to spend on a carplane?

lol. I also saw a special on PBS about 4 or 5 years ago that talked about the prototypes and interviewef the designer. Dang, talk about a smart guy. He is really going to push this for all its worth. It shis dream to make aircars available for a normal citizen......but, looking at the price, its not happening yet.

it's the first step though. Think what people would have thought about the first cars. Yup 20-30 years we'll all have them and wondered how we ever managed without :D

that worries me, considering how some people drive, I'm scared to get in a car with them - let alone an aircraft....
