Readers of xkcd have probably already seen this, but if not, it's pretty hilarious. Don't block people from accessing your wireless network. Instead, mess with them..

Oh man, I gotta think about trying it. I have my wireless secured, but I'd be willing to open it up for this so that anyone driving by could connect.

I'm tempted to try it as well. Our apartment is surrounded by quite a few others, so there's half a dozen or so wireless networks around, but most of them are secured. If we opened ours up, we'd be all but guaranteed to see a few people connecting to it.

Not to mention I'd probably benefit from the little bit of technical know-how I'd gain from this. :wink:
