Hey guys I was wondering how to make those weird letters.

You know the "n" with the line on top, or the "a" with the circle on top...etc (u know where this is going right? ).

I heard somewhere that to make them you needed to do equations in notepad or something.

CAN SOME ONE PLEASE TELL ME!

OH, and I will be using the weird letters thingy for my msn messenger.

Make sure your numbers lock is on, then hold the alt key and type the 3 digit decimal code for the character you want to type on your number pad.

For instance, the English pound symbol ( £ ) is 156.

You can look up the rest of the codes on google. Just search for ASCII chart or ASCII codes.

WARNING: If I see you using any of those characters inappropriately on here, I will make fun of you :P

Wow don't tell me you memorized all those numbers and words! Well since i'm incapable of such a feat, I just copy, paste and save..and will name the file "Weird letters" :D

Now I know how to seem French (besides squirting lemon juice into my eye and mouth) when i'm not! Success!

Sweet thanks a lot guys! Going over to msn messenger to increase my coolness with the letters :!:

Almost forgot... how do you make the TM signs and copyright signs? And are there any accents or unusual looking L's or G's?

I used to know most of them as I learnt them in school

I cant remember why, it was English business Studies
But anyhow
I forgot what they are
and the ñ comes in very handy for me
as I have spanish friends and in spanish, as some of you may know

N and Ñ are 2 different letters

I don't know anything about dream-weaver or Zend cause I only use my computer to play games (yes I know i'm very shallow). I think I got the macro media version of dream weaver if it isnt dream weaver already. I'll prob install it soon.

But can you guys tell me what exactly dream weaver and Zend is for? Is that like asking you guys what a series of moving pictures is called?

Hmm I just tried making the trademark and cpyright in notepad but I cant get it to work. Can you guys ratify it for me further I'm a bit slow.

The Macromedia Version of Dreamweaver does not help us, as the latest version, is Version 8, which was released before Adobe bought all rights to Macromedia Products.

Limbo, i find this article on the Wikipedia site seems to explain what Dreamweaver is pretty well.

Wikipedia - Dreamweaver

This should help you understand what onlyican.com is talking about.

I have to use the french ones from time to time so I know some of them, but I don't have them memorized. What is needed is to keep a little crib sheet somewhere near your work area if you use these codes often. You could cut and paste and then print the nice big list above, it would be all done so nicely. Thanks for that list!
