hey all,

this site is really taking shape!

I'm very impressed with the quality of people that have flocked here and set up camp. sorry i haven't been here as of late, see, I decided to run a little yellow page ad for in-home pc help and the next thing i knew i was getting 10+ calls a day for people wanting help with their pc's and boom instant busy guru. so although it is no excuse i have been super busy with the new Borrow -A- Geek business and the full time job at Charter (cable modem) Tech support. and also have a new fiancé to boot, yup you heard me right Fiancé... we are getting married february 29th 2004 (leap day of leap year, so i only have to celebrate every four years, lol)

anyway, I wanted to tell you all that there are a lot of new people here I don't know yet, but im gonna come and spend some more time here, I miss all the old crew and look forward to getting to know the new as well. looks like i have alot of people to catch up with on post counts!
thanks for all the nice comments in some of the posts in the past in my absence, it did not go un noticed...

Welcome back Gadget Guru. You left just about the same time I got here, but I've gained a tidbit or two from reading your old posts. I pop into Dallas once or twice a year. I used to live there myself, and my girlfriend still does. I'll have to pay you a visit next time I'm there.

cool, i read the post that unflux posted, that explained it all for me. my mug shot is a little old too but on short notice itis all i had handy.. i like the mug shot idea though its kinda cool knowing what people look like it could quickly become a trend if it were to be permenant.
