Have you formatted the phone recently?

Try and restore and a fresh clean install

also every month your suppose to drain your battery dill dead and recharge it from there to keep the battery healthy.

i have had the odd issue with it but nothing that can not be fixed but i still have to use my iPhone as my work is based around it.

I do drain my battery every month... and after that the folders open instantly for a day and then its back to the waiting for them to open.

I'm not exactly keen on formatting it either, don't trust that backup utility enough (not sure how to use it another reason).

Also using an HD7 now as well. Didn't like the size at first, but the large screen is growing on me, especially since I rarely make calls and use it mostly for email/text/web.

lol

every time you sync you backup your phone to your computer, which includes apps, sms, photos and anything that is in itunes including music. The whole point if sync is to copy it back. If your using a jailbrolen phone then i would not suggest it as 4.2 is the latest f/w for jailbreak but fi you just us ethe normal iOS then restore and update.

My phone isn't jailbroken. There was one time I updated my phone and I lost all of my files. There were like 300 pictures on it that I lost (I'm really unhappy about that), lost all my contacts, lost all the music I bought on iTunes (WTF!)... so I had to re-buy the music, apps (Thankfully if you buy the apps again, they just give it to you for free... not so with music... those greedy f%*&ers).

So since then, I'm not too keen on it.
