What is it? I never heard of a data loss warranty. Buy some external drives & backup your data.

Backup is a good option, but let's say my Data has a price I need to be sure that I will recover those files in case I loose them, that's why I was thinking about a warranty so I don't loose my money on lost files. I've found some options on google for Data loss warranty, but I don't know which one to choose.

thanks for the advice. I will consider it

I don't think they will just hand over money, the warranty is more of a promise from them to you that they will do routine backups so that if something does get lost they can restore it easily.

There's dropbox that you can use to backup your files. It's pretty handy.

The only way to protect your files is to have it on multiple mediums. I have mine on ReWriteable DVD, Flash Drive, and 2 Hard Drives... one internal on my computer, and the other I use for back-ups (as external hard drive that I use like a flash drive).

If people are selling some type of data insurance, I wouldn't buy it.

I had a look around using the phrase you keep repeating and though I did find one result that looked promising at first, it all looks like snake oil to me when I read their EULA.

Now, if a hard drive manufacturer provided free data recovery service for failed hard drives during the life of that hard drive's warranty and called it a "data loss warranty" I might take it seriously.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.

This term threw me as well, because most providers or vendors don't warranty loss of data. Remotely backing up your data is easy and relatively inexpensive. :D

That's an interesting offer. If you self evalualte your data's worth at $100,000, the charge/fee would be $2560.00 to enroll.
