Speaking as a scouser, riding high on the crest of a wave at beating Barcelona

Full of optimism (and beer) about our chances ... just wondering who the ozzu-favourite was at this point in time. 8 teams left ... Place your bets ...

I would be pleasantly surprised if Liverpool did it. I haven't seen many of their games, so it is hard to decide whether they are playing anywhere near as good as they did when they won it the other year. The Barcelona win was impressive though and has probably helped raise the chances on Liverpool winning.
I'd like to see Manchester United go quite far though, final perhaps?

Manchester United. They havent won it enough and i feel this year they are going to reach atleast the semifinal. I would love it if we draw Liverpool in the next round

. It would give Liverpool a chance to get revenge of the 1-0 home defeat a few weeks back at the hands of Manchester United

. That win was sweet. Nothing better then scoring at the KOP end in the 91st minute and winning a game.
No offence to Liverpool but i think barca didnt play really well and are out of form at the moment. Anyway, i personally think that at this stage almost any team can win it. Roma defeated Lyon 2-0 away from home and Lyon were one of the favorites to win it. Valencia defeat Inter.. inter were quite a run in the Serie A. Psv defeated Arsenal.. Porto almost defeated chelsea.. I feel at this stage its Luck which matters most.
My personal favorite is Manchester united because i support them but if you look at it, Chelsea are always one of the favorites to win it and AC milan too. Rafa gets Liverpool really organized for the european games so i wont be suprised if they do well again though.

I don't believe Man Utd. stands a chance because the only striker they are left with is Rooney. Saha, Soljaer and Larsson are injured and they will have to put Alan Smith as stricker, atleast thats what i think. And Smith is going to play after such a long time and for past 2 years he had been playing as a mid fielder, the change might not be well adjusted. The team in best form is Liverpool and probably they are going to win. And i think Chelsea without Tierry is a bit weak at defence. If it is going to be a team from Premier League it is just going to be Liverpool
I love donkeys! I believe one day donkeys shall rule the world. *serious face*

Henrik Larsson's loan has finished now. He heads back to Helsingborg on March 13th.

Well, got to admit I have a sneaky feeling this maybe Man Utd's season although a lack of strikers may just scupper their chances but they're in great form

However, that said ANYBODY but Chelsea. I normally pride myself on supporting all english teams, including Man Utd ... and i'm a scouser

... but I just couldn't take it. Much prefer to see Sir Alex lift ole' big-ears in his 20th season than listen to the crowing of the 'not-so-special-one' and i'd swap the Champions League for Premiership glory anyday - we want out title back

Well .. Liverpool needed alot of luck in 2005 when they won it. They were struggling to qualify from the group stages even and it was a certain Steven Gerrard goal against i think Olympiacos because of which Liverpool qualified. They were very very lucky and their team only plays if gerrard plays well. Thats how i feel.
Anyway, despite Man United's lack of strikers right now, they can play Ronaldo or Giggsy upfront and both are pretty good infront of goal. I would prefer ronaldo upfront with Rooney and Ronaldo does play upfront for Portugal sometimes. So Rooney and ronaldo upfront with Park in the right midfield. Carrick with Scholes in Central midfield and Giggs Left Midfield. That isnt really bad isnt it? Plus saha and soslkjaer are only out for a month i guess so they wont miss alot of Champions League action and there arent alot of Premiership matches this month. As a United supporter i never want any other English team to win it. Because arsenal and liverpool are big rivals and Chelsea are now big enemies of Man United. I would rather have Valencia win it. Really love their team.
Anyone going to watch Man United vs Europe 11?

Waaaaaaaaaay - a semi-final rematch again Chelsea maybe on the cards. Got to fancy our chances against PSV

We've already beaten them this season. And if we do meet up I want to win by a blatantly offside goal just to rub-it-in

That's truely awful

I mean, I always support the british teams but then, i'm a scouser

and to coin a phrase you're a
