Yep, we get Columbian coffee here in the UK. That reminds me of something a TSA officer asked us at the airport in LA last week - he was checking our passports and noticed that we were from the UK. He started going on about how he loved Torchwood and the BBC, and then he said "Is that the only TV channel you get in the UK?" I felt like asking him what a TV was

Dunkin Donuts coffee is pretty spectacular. But my all time favorite still goes to Bob Evans.
The Beer Monocle. Classy.

hahaha reminds me of some hotshot US soldier that came down to Bosnia in one of the international missions. the guy walks into a pub and starts a conversation with some of the local girls, saying 'yeah, I know all about yugoslavia, I saw this video, 'death of yugoslavia'... you girls know what a 'vi-de-o' is?'

to which the girl closest to him gave him a confused look and said 'No..... here we have 'D-V-D'.....'

I wonder if he felt sufficiently embarrassed......

Coffee is the nectar of the Gods! I love the stuff. Except when I inadvertantly pick up my wife's mug and take a big swig of the syrupy crap she drinks.

Black, no sugar, please! :drink:

I can't imagine if there's no coffee around. I recently bought 2 packets of coffee beans that is steeped from the supermarket. And I made it with 2 teaspoons, a packet of creamer, and 85% boiling water. It's amazing, it really helps me to do whatever I want. For example, if I'm feeling tired, and restless, it actually lets me sleep. If I'm feeling busy, and needs to get things done, it gives me the alertness I need. Unlike some coffee, I drank it, I'll feel too strong, and can't help. I can write a page of article about coffee, really cuz I love it.

I used to visit starbucks often, not now anymore. It I guess I'm losing its taste somehow. McD coffee is quite ok for me. It isn't too bad, and too good. Nescafe?, o.k this is my dad's favorite-all time. Not mine.

This is what I drink all day long loaded with sugar

As far as Starbucks goes, I refuse to drink from a place where I have to learn a new language just to order something. Plus I like just coffee and as far as I know you can't just get a cup of coffee there.

I prefer the black coffee as well without any milk or cream actually.

If you think 1 starbucks within 5 minutes walking distance is bad, you should check out the Northwest. It's overrun with Starbucks' here. There are numerous spots I could mention that have multiple (not just 2) starbucks stores within minutes of eachother. I know of one location in Hillsboro, OR where there are 2 starbucks directly across the street from one another.

Right now I'm working in Boston temporarily and the company I am working for has one of these and I think it's pretty much the greatest thing ever. I had never seen one before but it comes with all of these little cups of different flavors (that are free here of course) and it's pretty much just a 1 touch system.

I've gone through a couple everyday the last 2 weeks nearly.

No. I do not like hazelnut. It is just plain coffee and it is delicious.

What is the point in having so many starbucks so close together? I would have thought it would have been better to spread them out over a larger scale.

Try visiting Seattle. So many Starbucks it is not even funny. If you can't find one in Seattle you must be blind and have no sense of smell.
