Anyone here follow a bit of Tennis?

As some of you probably know, Wimbledon started yesterday. Weather is actually supposed to be good this year, and the new retractable roof at the centre court is actually not likely to be used at least this week...so there should be a pretty easy flowing tournament this year.

Who do you all want to win?

Roddick. :) Been a fan since he went main-stream.
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

You know who I want to win? Whomever is ahead; the sooner they finish, the sooner I get to go back to the hotel. ;)

Okay, so who do you want to win the tournament Daemonguy?

I think you know who i want to win, mainly because he shares the same nationality as me and i've been a fan of his since his early professional days.

Again, the one who best suits my needs; that is, the one who gets me out the earliest. :)

Right now, I am cheering Murray on, because he's ahead of whomever it is he is playing. ;)

Tomorrow, may be a different story.

It will be a Murray vs Federer final where i reckon Murray could go on to win it.

He deserves it after the year he has had so far. Definitely future number 1 player. He just seems to have the determination and mentality to win games like this. He strives off the pressure which is a great talent to have.

I'm just under a year older than him so i've caught onto his career from an early age, it was when he was 15 and won a big youth tournament in America that he became well known to the Scottish media. As his career has progressed, so has his fame and popularity around the UK and the rest of the world.

It's strange seeing it all happen to someone a little bit younger than myself let alone someone from my own country.

Murray once again dominated the game today to progress to the second week of the tournament.

Yep, and we at the venue appreciate his quick wins. ;)

Daemonguy is most likely not going to be happy with Murray now.

It is nearly 10pm here and he is in a 5 set thriller with Wawrinker. A really good game so far, going to be very close.

I think this is the latest a game at Wimbledon has been played in 30+ years.

I wouldn't be annoyed though. What a fantastic game of tennis this is.

Cannot believe how good the game was. Nearly 4 hours long. Andy Murray finally won it though to clinch a spot in the Quarter Finals.

Yes, not pleased to say the least.

That roof will make Wimbledon no different than USOpen or AusOpen. Shame.

Not to mention I didn't get back to the hotel until midnight. ;)

Roger Federer beat Haas to go through to the final of Wimbledon. If he wins the final then he will become the all time greatest player beating Pete Sampras record of 14 Grand Slam wins.

The finalist will be decided over the next few hours when American Andy Roddick and Scottish player Andy Murray are playing each other. This is going to be a good game.

Really enjoyed this tournament this year.
