I believe Longhorn is the "code name" for the release of windows that will come out in 2004. I hear it somehow got leaked out, but its probably pretty hard to find. Also the same thing happened with Windows XP a long time ago, and from what I have read the early release of Windows XP was nothing like the final version... so even if you downloaded the release of Windows Longhorn, I am pretty sure it will be nothing like the final version that eventually comes out.

I have another question for you. When i go to download Redhat Linux 8.0 with my 56k modem. My internet connection automatically disconnects and sometimes it says the connection was reset or the connection was timed out. What could be the problem. I really want Redhat Linux

Thanks

Try downloading it from another mirror. There are alot of mirrors that are overloaded, or have problems from time to time. Just keep trying different mirrors until you find a good one. If you are downloading with a dialup connection it will take you a very long time to get. I recommend using some kind of download manager so that if you do lose your connection, you can start off where you left off, instead of starting all over.

I need you to help me with something. After my download is complete. Do i make my windows and linux partitions the same or are they different? I'm going to do it manually with fdisk. When i start fdisk. How much % should i set for each gig?

If you use fdisk from windows/dos you would set up just your windows partion and then leave alot of unused space that goes to no partion, as you will set that part up in redhat. I would at least give 2-3 gigs for redhat.

I do not use a download manager, but one you might look for is called Go!Zilla. You can find it here:
