Curiously enough, today's announcement of the withdrawal of US Troops from Iraqi cities happens to coincide with an auction that took place in Baghdad where several of Iraq's largest oil fields were auctioned off. The fields are among the country's easiest, cheapest, and largest.

Read more about it here.

What was that 'I' term again, Rabid Dog? ;)

Nice propaganda website you've got there.

And it looks like China is in the lead for the bidding. That would definatley not be a "Western Imperialist" country.

No, I guess they would be an "Eastern Imperialist" country, which since the cold war is over it is the same thing now anyway. I imagine next we get to read everything jflynn knows about contemporary socialism and communism, and how it is all the same thing and wrong to begin with, etc etc.

I think I'd prefer to hear his thoughts rather than pessimistic, condescending remarks about what he may or may not post. If he hadn't planned to respond, you've given him a great reason to do precisely what you snarled about. ;) Lighten up! We're a _friendly_ community here!
