I believe we have both ice and field hockey. depends on what part of the country you're in really.

We had a news item last year about really mean soccer chicks in the states, must be the same breed.

I wouldn't mind playing a sport again, I just don't the time to be committed to a regular club. Oh well ;)

i want to move to Canada for curling. I love curling. We had a little league at our local ice rink, but we couldn't get participation up enough to keep it going. ):

you may have seen a bit of coverage from the last olympics. It's kinda like shuffle board on ice.

oh, it's fun. lots of strategy, very little athleticism.

90% of curling in world happens in Canada, and oddly enough, the granite stones that you play with are only quarried on an island off of scotland. go figure.

They probably used local materials until they discovered something better ;)

I like that game lacrosse, that looks like it would be a lot of fun (competitive but fun)

actually, i believe the sport was invented in scotland and then migrated to Canada. I think they use the same granite to ensure consistancy.

I've always wanted to try cricket. That's fairly poplular in Oz, yeah?
