Nokia cos they have THE best kind of phones and very very durable!!! I have 4 of them at the moment, my sister has 3, my mum has 2, my sisters boyfriend has one and my stepfather has 1. My daughter has about 6 old Nokia play phones that we don't use anymore

Ericson, I drop this one all the time and its fine. Its about 6 years old and its a brick, but it works great.

I'm going to get a 3G one as soon as I can justify the price.

I'm not so keen on nokias, they aren't that durable, and IMHO they are pretty overrated.

I've had my sony ericsson for about two years and it has really abused, with no damage.

One of my friends had one he was trying to destroy, we threw it against walls, immersed it in water, filled the insides with tip-ex and paint, filled it with lighter fluid and set it on fire. The damn thing just would not die!!!

I think that the UI issue with nokias is not such a big deal - a few years ago yes, but i think the other manufacturors (sp) have caught up now on useability.

But It is a bugger swapping from nokia predictive text to the t3 on ericssons :D

The phone I want is the P900, but I'm just dumb like that - I have very expensive taste :D

Really I think it's just one of those preferences, like people have preferences in CPU and graphics cards. Some people love pentium, some only go for AMD.

I've got two Nokia phones right now and one Sony Ericsson. The Nokia 6230, Nokia 6600 and SE T610. The Nokia 6230 is the best phone in the UK market right now IMO, considering I've worked in a phone shop for two years now, I think my opinion is quite a good one :P

If you want a decent camera get the Sharp GX30 but the battery life and bluetooth lets it down.

I wouldnt touch Alcatel, Sendo, Sagem and Maxon (They make the O2 X1) phones with a barge pole btw...

I don't really know if I have a favorite. I had a Nokia for a long time and it worked great. Now I have a LG 5450 and I like it a lot. It's small and compact and it seems prety durable.

it's been release a year ago (at least here in Mexico). I was looking for a phone with PIM and Palm support and it was the only one small enough to satisfy me (it's just a little bit bigger than StarTac model), even though OS is not really Palm Os (it's Motorola proprietary) it does work well and has Java (J2ME) support. It's easier to write with a pen than with buttons (my hands are too big for Nokias keyboard)
