Mobile search is on the rise and Google's doing what it does best - keeping up with new ideas and improvements on the way we carry out our daily lives. Introducing Google Goggles - the point, click, and search approach. See a business and want to know what it is? Take a pic, let Google do its thing. See a book that you're curious about or think you can get cheaper elsewhere? Photo time. How does it work? Goggles recognizes pictures of objects and places and returns information regarding the item. At current, landmarks, books, logos, wine, contact info, artwork, and more are all included. Thoughts?
I'd love to change the world, but they won't give me the source code.

I saw this on a cnbc special about google the other day. The people testing it hated it, but the developers went with it any way. I think it is cool personally.

Google Goggles to be released for other platforms. It looks like blackberry and iphone users might be able to get in on the fun too.
