this entire forum is a mine of information. Read a few posts you'll get a fair idea of what you need to do. Read a lot you will really learn alot.

yeah, i was doing that...then got sidetracked and had to go get the google toolbar....and then an autofill extension for firefox....lol

and speaking of the google toolbar. i downloaded it then went to open it and when I did i was asked which program to open it with. so i picked firefox...and nothing happened.

Im not a n00b with computers or anything...i install stuff all the time. maybe im just being stupid but what the heck?

There is no readable content for Google to read on that page....

Frames, java scripts and images does not exacly boost your rankings - quite the opposite.

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&lr=l ... stereo.com

And no backlinks, that's why you have a PR0.

but theres nothing i cna do about that, frames are needed for the music player. How can google judge a page on frames and the language the page uses? that seems kinda lame

It doesn't "judge" a page on frames, it's just that the frames page itself has zero usable content for Google.

Then google sends somebody to your site, it's going to send them to the CONTENT page URL (that is, assuming you had some content), and NOT the frame page, so they'll never hear the music anyway.

Why do you need music there on the homepage anyway? The link is right there on that page "Do you want music or not?", so why not ask that BEFORE you show the player and just show the regular homepage...

That one?

There's plenty you can do about all that. It's your site right? :)

Why?

You have a frames and a non-frames version...

So just optimize the non-frames version, with a link to "load the frame"...

Personally, I'd rather view the straight HTML version without the frame, without the music. If I wanna listen to music, I'll already have it playing before I've even gone to your site. :)

you could have text content using frames. right click the frame, properties, use the alternate text field)
