Have done title and keywords. Slightly changed from Google Cache upon recieving results. Can anyone give me any pointers?

On site optimisation is only part of the jigsaw in rankings, you need to work on backlinks with anchor text now to improve further.

Continue the optimization by building more links, and on-page optimization if you need it. Then if you want to raise the SERP of your keywords, you must build links using that keyword, article submissions are a must.

Building more links where? I have posted on forums but most of them do the no-follow thing so I don't get any backlinks from it. I can do link exchanges but it seems they're not very effective compared to one-way links. And if I'm linked from a 'bad' page on the internet it lowers my rank.

Build links using that keyword? What are article submissions?

You need to do so many things simultaneously to get a good rank in Google and the other search engines. Some of them are as follows :

1. You should concentrate on the content of the site, so that you can get the good inbound links automatically.

I don't think I have time for that. Is there a chance maybe I could get a (volunteer) expert to help me in exchange for a share of the site profits? If not here, where might be a good place to find one?

Many directories offer directory submission services (questionable if they're worth it or reputable) - if you start submitting to directories, I'm sure you'll run across some.

Beyond that, a directory submission software might help save time. I know of at least one free one, and I paid for one that seems really good. PM if you want info on them.
