Google's Black List

I'm trying to track black list of websites banned by google,


Is this just one of those Google rumors or there really is a list of banned google sites somewhere?

The only comprehensive list of sites banned by google will only be available to google. There is no list like this online.

Thanks but how am I supposed to know if my sites wer banned or just doing sandbox time ?

If your site has been online for some time and not visible in the google index when you do a search for your domain name then it's possible it is banned. If you just rank poorly for your keywords you are in the sandbox.

Banned sites don't appear anywhere, at all, in the google index.

Just do a google search for your domain, If it appears anywhere in the index it's not banned.

no there is no problem, you site is in the google index and so its not banned.

Google just think you misspelled the name of another site.

I found it in a Google search, first page eight listing.

hi,

there is certain things that signs in ban sites by google. see the cache of the home page to see whether the crwaler is crawling the site or not. the page rank bar will seem gray rather than white. lastly if you search the site with it's domain name then the website will show 0 results (page can not be found or the ite is not in our databse).

I agree with meman if your site is in google index its not banned.
I didnt know that the page rank bar would be gray then white.

Actually grey Pagerank is really not a criteria to find if a site is banned or not. Your site might have been inactive for a while and PR toolbar will go grey. If you put it live back, it will be indexed, will be in SERP and in next update u will even see pagerank.
