Hot new Keyword Research tool from Google

Have you seen this keyword research tool from Google?

http://www.google.com/trends

Not only does it show you trends over time with different keywords - but it also shows you Geo localised results - so you can compare how different word variations are used in US & UK, for example.

Try comparing color,colour

Then note that you get different output if you compare colour,color

It seems to use the first term to decide which regions to provide results for - then use those same regions for the second term.

This is a great tool - and it just shows how far ahead of the game Google are.

This is cool link but for keyword research you may use overture too.

Just for the record guys, this thread is over two years old. Google Trends has been around for quite a while now.

I love google, they always come up with the best things. I use all of their webmaster tools all the time!

Does anyone know how accurate this actually is? I've tried a few terms which should have increased over the last few years and it says all of them have decreased.

Well, we don't need to expect to much such as how accurate is the tool because no tools that is 100% accurate.
