about 6 weeks,of course,This is not an absolute.if you buy or exchange a link who's pr is 6 or 7,you can let google index your site only in 2 or 3 days .

Indexing a new website will take a lot of time..You must optimize well your website so spiders can easily crawl it..And you can link it to a related site that is always indexing by spiders..

This all depends upon how many pages are in the site, the linking structure of the site as well as inbound links.

New websites might be tricky sometimes but as time goes by everything will become smooth. Write good content pages and do not forget programs like Google Webmaster Tools.

How long is a piece of string?

As already said, it depends on how many pages you have on your site, etc etc etc.

If you follow the sitemap guidelines within google tools, theres really no reason why your site shouldnt be indexed within 10-14 days.

Its depends, the duration of this indexing of new site seems to depend on a site's popularity, reputation,etc

If you make a link partner, then your site will be indexed more fast by google, you can try google webmaster tools for xml files submission. also, you can join some business site, and post your products & website info through them.

According to me its completely depend on your site quality and your backlinks positions.

I saw some times site indexed within two to three days but some times it take about one month.

Google not index inner pages frequently of any new website because the website is not much familiar in search engines result pages. For quick indexing one need to promote every page of website and placed it on high volume resources.

Sometimes it take 3 days to indexed your site just ping or submit it to socialbookmarkings.

Google indexing system depends on how good link you grab for your site. if you can get some authority site links then your site will get crawled very quickly. if not then can take lot of time. getting some link from related high ranked site can do wonder for you.
