massive difference in payout

If i have to believe the lists that are out there 
there is quite a difference between google and overture bids on search engine optimazation....when i did a search on this term the overture bid tool gave as a result about $2.00 maximum bid......on the google list this is "search engine optimization $30.19 "
Could this be possible or is this a eyeopener on how inaccurate these lists are?
