I've just started the SEO work on my site so I have a lot to learn and a long way to go. My site has been up a while but I still have a PR 0. I'm indexed in Google but as far as Google goes I just about don't exist.

My site is - southpadreislandmusic.com.

If you're willing to offer help - I'll definitely take any advice at this point.

I start with getting backlinks that use good keywords that people are likely to use when searching for entertainment in your area.

Make a research about your niche and keywords... then build a good unique website offering decent stuffs related to music... then slowly but steadily build links to your website...that's it!

Take care

There are sites like gumtree where you can place a link without having to ask the webmaster. Although not under every catagory.

I think it's great and there should be more such sites. links do not get old because they are pushed off the site by new stuff all the time. Check it out.
