I think before going to PPC, why not do some SEO first?
You know, PPC is risky. It might exhaust your resources really bad.

It largely depends on the budget you have for your marketing. Because if you have a website that has a low marketing budget then there is no need to go for PPC. Though its better to try SEO before PPC for marketing.

I would always recommend testing PPC before SEO. The reason is how do you know what keywords to focus on in free search? The ignorant way is to guess or to go by the keyword with the most searches. PPC allows you to test dozens, hundreds, if not thousands of keywords to see which ones give you the most conversions or just the best conversion rate. You are going to invest a ton of time in SEO, so why not save time and spend a little money finding the best terms to spend that effort on.
