Digg is vote driven by the readers. If your story appeals to the readers then it will get more votes and more exposure - more traffic.

Get registered in social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit, mixx... and then submit your story there.

Always give interesting title to your story that will help you to get more visitors. You can also use targetted keywords in the title it helps to give good SERP ranking

one bookmarking site will not do. you need to bookmark your pages on more sites. when you book mark keep your story title interesting and also related to your site.

Submit your site to those popular social bookmarking sites like digg, reddit, stumbleupon, delicious, technorati and squidoo..The title should be a catchy phrase..

I would do both, that is social media: social bookmarking, forums, blogs, community networks...everything is important, in my opinion.

Just go to the bookmark website and then submit the news and articles you want to submit.

One more thing, when you bookmark your site in this list, pay attention to duplicate content. Avoid that mistake! :)

I have many resources, I do it manually but at the moment I'm testing 4 programs that can help do this in auto... Not sure if I can post my results on this site because they are on my site, or will be soon.

I have been thinking about using bookmarks but wasn't really sure how to get the most out of it, or if it was even worth trying... there are a lot of differnet opinions on the subject here but I'm going to give it a shot anyway.

I will let you know if it made any difference in traffic.
