Don't mean to hijack this post, but I am curious about those of you that operate SEO Consulting Companies. After the initial consultation and SEO work, what next?

You then have to maintain a relationship with the company to stabilize their rankings, right?

How do you maintain 20-200 companies where you are constantly improving their off-site presence? It sounds like you need one hell of a team of people to accomplish this (article/link submissions/linking structure/competitive analysis)? If you have a huge team, how do you cover/justify your costs?

Love to hear your answers.

i think they outsource and organize all strategies on each team. Some companies pay huge amounts for seo purposes so I think they make huge profits.

It really very important to have keywords featured in the content of the site. Also, the meta of the site has to have all the important keywords. It is imperative to have keywords on the page title in order to rank higher in the SERPs.
