Ad block is constructed in a totally different manner than what I am
used to seeing ... functions differently too.

The adsense js is also unusual.

Nice font-sizes though.

It could be they are over the 20mil page views per month limit and have worked with Google to have custom ads.

I thought of that, but had a little difficulty in seeing that amount of traffic to that site.

You never know though, you could be right.

Could be an experiment or they adapted the code in some sort of way and this would be against TOS but i don't think they are doing something against the TOS when looked at the effort that is brought in to the site.

But i agree it is very interesting.

If you look at the page's code there's some javascript at the top that has to do with the google ads. Definately something special...I have a few account on high traffic site and I don't have an option to do that layout.....would be nice on some of the longer pages.
