Hello friends which is the best separator on the url.
for example
1. http://www.example.com/tags.asp?tag=hello-world
2. http://www.example.com/tags.asp?tag=hello+world

shortly "-" or "+" is best for seo

Thanks

I suggest to use the hypenated one. Plus sign are always used to combine two words in searching while hypen is always used to combine two or more keywords in url.

I Think hyphens is best because Google sees hyphens as separator in URLs and body text.

I think hyphens (-) are the best URL separators. If you have already started using (+) and google bot has crawled it but you have nt got any page rank, then I think you can change the URLs.

- hypen would be the best one, I think. Although it's not mandatory to use hypen only...webmasters use also "_" and "+" as you already have in example 2.
