Why doesn't my site rank well

Can anyone tell me, Why doesn't my site rank well for the keywords I target?

please suggest me what kinds of SEO technique i should follow.

Keyword research is the very important step and you need to first choose keywords which are low in competition with a descent search volume.

If you are targeting competitive keywords, it will take a good amount of time and effort to rank for such keywords.

You site does not rank well because Google does not consider it
important enough to rank well and/or relevant enough to rank well.

You need links with your keywords anchored.

Optimize your site using on page and off page technique.
Such as having unique title tags should be added to each Web page on your site and get relevant links with targeted keywords as anchor text.

I think you should give us more specific information for us to know what's wrong.
Posting your website's url and your keywords maybe will more easy for us to find where is the problem.

you can get keywords for yourself from "google adwords", if you get keywords but you cant get top in SERP you should change it into more low frequency.

making your website rank well is not a quick job, you need to spend months working with keywords, links etc to see some result

You need backlinks from a multitude of sources. Good, clean above the board stuff. When that is done you should definitely rank well.
