Yes, you can see the new PR on websites by placing this line in your hosts file which basically makes toolbarqueries.google.com use the new IP:

66.102.9.104 toolbarqueries.google.com

On windows XP the hosts file is located in this directory:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Now when you goto websites you will see the new PR in your toolbar. Remember to take it out of the hosts file when you are done with it.

I jump pr4 from pr1 :? , also it gives pr4 to half of my subpages and pr0 to others but the backlinks that results are at least 3 weeks old. I wish google is still updating ... or i had missed the most of the links that i had get at this last three week.

Thats cool. I wont flip out  haha

Question:
I have probably 15 to 20 links out there that were live before last nights backlink and page rank update.
The sites that had live links to my site all had a good to better than average pr.
Does google look at how long those backlinks have been there and only post them once they have been on a site for a certain amount of time?
Or, Does Google see the link go to my page, deem it as sucky and decide not to list the backlinks?
I am asking this to see if I am doing something wrong, Or do I just need to remain calm and patient and know that one day I will see them.

Is it possible that they are still updating :hmm: I'm seeing 8 backlinks on http://66.102.9.104/ but none on http://www.google.com. I know I have at least 40 backlinks with pr4 and above :?:

Google is not showing the any backlinks that have been setup at the last 3 weeks.
I think those are the results of an update which is nearly 2-3 weeks ago.
Also google made a big crawl which is 2-3days ago and those results (pr and the backlinks) to be appeared in next weeks.
But the search results are updating nearly real time and become more stabil this week.
Also it seems like google gives more weight to the dmoz listed pages :?:

Here is something wierd.
I have had a pr of 0 since I started my site.
Last night when i read this thread I had a pr of 0 on http://www.google.com
and a pr of 0 that ip address big web posted.

This morning I just checked and I have a pr of 1 on http://www.google.com
and a pr of 0 on that same ip bigweb posted last night.
Isnt that strange?

Hey I am stoked I have a pr of 1.
