Damn, you had me going there for a moment. I know I am in for a big progress since my link has been added to a footer on a site with more that 12.000 indexed pages.

On my datacenter there is no update yet.....

where is that tool again that shows the different datacenters?????

oh wow they really are updating and it even sees my 2 sites as separate sites with separate backlinks now... i wonder when the change will filter down to all the googles as the one that comes up when i type in google still shows the old results.

I always do mine by just typing in the ip address - typing in my site url and clicking the links button.

the links from your footer -

when does the backlink # start figuring into rankings? reason i ask is i checked backlinks on those sites which definitely are changing... but actual ranking position doesn't seem to have changed even tho the backlinks have... does the backlink update take a while to filter through the search engine results?

My site still shows 0 backlinks (not updated yet I guess), but I jumped up 9810 spots for one of the keyphrases that I wasn't on the map for yet and my others went up a few each as well! :) can't wait to see how many backlinks google shows.

Something isn't right w/ this update.

A normal Backlink update would be over by now....

With this update the 4 data centers i listed 1 day ago are still the only data centers that are updated.

I wonder if google is simply doing a test. Any comments on this?? :)

I agree - I also notice that all of my sites have exactly the same number of backlinks on the updated servers as they did on the last (supposed update) [Dead Link] which quickly dissapeared a day or so later.

Seems G wants to keep us on our toes, Or they are playing with something.

To be honest it wouldn't supprise me to see a big change in Google soon, its been too quiet for too long.

Kind of strange how this backlink update wasn't right in a way and the last "update" was very different from all the past updates.
