My page rank was a 1 earlier today and then I just went to my site and my pr was a 3?
Did something happen I wasnt aware of?

***I also noticed some of my other pages within my site went from 0's to 2's and my forums are even a two!

woot, it looks like google is updating their databases

EDIT: just checked my site, it was updated from 3 to 5, It must have heppened at most 30 minutes ago, woohoo

There was some suggestion in other places in the last day or so that a pr/ibl update was starting as some fluctuations were being seen. Its now official that the update is going on. I went from a pr1 and pr0 on my two sites to pr4 on both (so far today). Hang on floridafishandhunt, its only going to get better from here. :wink:

Not much changed with the latest update except many of the back links with PR 4+ are not counted for my site :(

Just for example: link:www.cyberax.net

do not show http://www.AussieSubmit.com in its link popularity results. Whereas I can see that all the links on this site are PR4 or more.

Any change with the Google Indexing Engine ?

Well then you will love the fact that a new PR/IBL update started yesterday and is showing strong today. I expect it to last til friday morning.

Dont fret yet. So far on 4 boards i visit, everyone is seeing some rather odd stuff. Give it til friday before worrying too hard on it. Everythings bounching like mad right now.

As we all know Google Bot are on duty 24/7 spidering the Internet and updating its Google Document Server and Index Servers (not to be confused with PageRank which updates once in 4 weeks)

So with the change in the same slight changes are always noticed in Google Results.
