My rank went from 5 to 6 but on of the sites I link to went from 0 to 5.

I can confirm that there was a PR UPDATE..... pages that i newly created a month ago has PR ranking now when the bar was grey before...

but its not stable yet. I refresh the pages , and new PR disappears.

anyone got the conclusion of that, could it be mistake or sth, I have PR4 from PR3, should I expect any changes soon!!

The update is complete now is it not?

Hopefully is because my new site has jumped from 0 to 3 with some pages showing a 4, must look at my linking...obviously messed something up as surely better to have a higher PR homepage or am I just spouting rubbish?

Sorry for simple questions but very new to this webmaster lark!!

Boooooo...I haven't done much with my site lately, and the backlinks have dropped with no increase in page rank.

Time to get busy with this again now. :shock:

Is there a set timeline or approx timeline on pagerank and backlink updates with Google?

Just wondering when would be the next deadline for getting changes in before the execution?

wht do you mean changes?

if changes to page contents, update happens fast. (within hours, or days)

if your talking about PR and backlinks, its gonna take months :wink:

Non-event for my sites ... a few new backlinks, most new pages now have PR .... but overall no changes to PR for any sites.

Guess I should be happy 8)

I once saw a link to a site that logs Google activity. Anyone know of this site? I am wondering when they will next update the SERP's.

Well the SERPs change very frequently. Are you meaning this website which logs some of the other updates by Google such as toolbar PR, directory PR, and backlink update?:
