I don't know about you dudes, but ozzu ROCKS! My new website (that I haven't pay attention too much) has 5 backlinks on big G from this forum :) The homepage pr still 4 (but hey, the site is less than 2 months old - no content yet) and now deep dynamic interior pages got indexed too - woohoooo! All my client;s site went up +1 in PR :) No changes in SERPS though - still #1 for all main keyphrases

With the new update I observed a peculiar change:

The update is the result of incomplete indexing as most of the sites with which we share reciprical linking and PR4+ are not counted in the Google Link popularity search result.

Example: http://www.cyberax.net (PR6)

It do not show http://www.aussiesubmit.com in the link popularity result for the above mentioned domain even though all the links on that page has our link and also have PR4.

For newbies a quick note: Do not expect a huge leap in your PR with Link Exchange with non related sites.

Have noticed this thing with all my sites. Might be due to the neighbourhood factor.

Quite Tip:
Don't participate in link schemes designed to increase your site's ranking or PageRank. In particular, avoid links to web spammers or "bad neighborhoods" on the web as your own ranking may be affected adversely by those links.

I think that should be well known, but if people still are, its a good tip.

The last few updates have shown the "bad neighborhood" penalty may exist. Thats why you should just get links from relevant sites.

I went down this month too (so far). Was wondering, do the SERPS update a few days later? Or is this it? Because the PR may be bouncing around, the search results aren't. Are the major SERPS updates done?

With the new update one thing I noticed that when you search for "hosting in USA" without quotes and you see our site ranked #2.

Why not #1 :)

Now all the pages in our website are PR4+ (with homepage at PR6)

Is the current Google Dance over or we still need to wait ?

They can have big changes, almost everyday. Somedays my sites will change 5 positions, other days they may change 20. You really do not notice them unless you monitor them daily.

Yeh, its neverending really. As soon as a spidering run is complete they rerank the pages that were included in that run. Then the process starts over with the next batch.
