Page Rank Update Megathread (update 31.12.2009)

Have you checked your websites today?

I have seen a little fluctuation in number of backlinks for most of my sites and also I hav seen this fluctuation in Page Rank for some of websites.....

My two sites get PR-3 from-n/a and thats good for me.....and also one of my site's internal pages PR has increased........but one of my blog PR goes down and other ones up......

Maybe Google are making changes to thier pagerank scheme...
I have found that one website i have called Botrans Removals has a pagerank of 2 on the .com and 1 on .co.uk, and then i look at it on another computer and the .co.uk has none and .com has 1!

Yes! It's an Google PageRank Toolbar Update.

My blog has got PR 2 from Zero, just a new blog with 35 backlinks now.

In the google directory my site shows PR 3 but the toolbar shows PR 1.

My blog has increased its page rank from PR 1 to PR3.

I was blown away when i saw a pagerank of 4 for a one page site witch has nearly no content and exist about 1 month. an other blog exist about 6 month and jet 8500 pages indexed but only got an update from 2 to 3. kind of weird

yeah,so good for my site, is PR5 ...LOL

In my country (Romania) appear news about Page Rank Update, It is true?

Yes it appears there is a toolbar pagerank update going on. I am noticing changes on the following IP address:

209.85.173.147

If you do not see the update you change your hosts file by adding this line:

209.85.173.147 toolbarqueries.google.com

That will force the queries to use that IP address. Make sure you remove that line after a few days. On Windows XP Professional I found the hosts file here:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts

I see a page rank update for my sites.

Hi, Its true that Google PR is updating , I am from INDIA.

I haven't noticed any PR update.
