The largest drawback, is the 100+ unit cutoff which equates to a $13,000 minimum investment.

The system sounds like it could have it's uses though.
One thing that came to mind was outsourcing.
Another was a replacement for TV monitors in the headrests of cars.
Strong with this one, the sudo is.
