ACS 495 Speakers vs. WinXP

I've got Altec Lansing ACS495 Speaker system. If anybody is familiar, it's just a USB speaker system. Now this is my problem, they only play in mono through the left channel.

I need my right channel and sub to work or they're just no good to me. So here's the question. Find some-way to get these to work... which I haven't been able to do, which is why i'm here. Get new speakers, which i don't want to tap into mutual funds to do. Or let them sit here the way they are?
