Well, Logitech just came out with the G5 Laser, as well as the G7 Wireless Laser. If you are looking for optical, I would recommend the MX518. I say the more dpi the better :)

I have the Logitech MX-518 and it's great. Really worth the price.

So do I, it is great for gaming and precise graphic designing. I have even gotten a compliment from my brother's friend saying it was very precise. The price is lowered to about 30 now. You could get a G5 for about 55.

Well if you're familiar with Newegg, you can find it there for roughly $40.

Its roughly the same price at http://www.pricewatch.com so if you're looking online, I would say that on average its about $40.

Either the logitech G5 or the Razer Copperhead.

Both mice use the same hardware, razer does have some good points it comes with 32k memory on the mouse to save configurations to the mouse itself, so if you change machine your button configs are easily set back up.

Both mice are laser and not optical which means more surface compatability and faster response time, both respond within 1ms compaired to 8ms or so for cheaper optical mice. So for games it's the most accurate mouse there is!!

Hope this helps
