From what i've seen the only thing you'll get that's better than Alienware for gaming is having someone custom build for you which will cost more.

In conclusion, Nothing. :D

yeah, in my comparing of systems I would buy if I had money, I found that a Dell, with the same specs as and aleinware, can cost half as much.

but if you want true mountainload, like everest load, go L laptops

Alienware is the best next to building your own dream machine. I was in BestBuy for an hour playing a demo game on the Area51 and WOW it was an awesome ride. If I had $4500 for one I would buy it. I could also build a clone for a whole lot less but it would not look as cool. As many people have said your basicly buying the name not the speed.

Personally, Voodoo and Falcon Northwest makes better PC's then Alienware. But Alienware is offering some good things in the future and will be a force to reckon with. If you have some time check out the ALX line from Alienware.

Voodoo....ooo does have a nice ring to it lol! Alienware are a great company and mates have had ace experiences with them, but they are a little out of my league at my age! lol!
