PS. wanna keep it about 34ÂșC Idle temps

Believe it or not the stock fans do a very good job, get you some Arctic Silver 5, dont spread it on there like your spreading peanut butter...lol....small dot and spread it over the entire die, scrape the grey patch off the heatsink use rubbing alcohol to get the residue off.

He He He ....WELLL...lmaoooas witht he 64 bit you will have to lock them into place with clips instead of the old metal brackets, much like the P-4 cooler because of the size of the cover on the chips, the Heatsink is flat, no notch like the XP heatsinks.

....i know how to install a CPU fan WC, i meant the thermal compund. i put a stait line down the CPU core, you told me i was wrong.

You only have to put a small drop about the size of a grain of rice in the middle of the die and spread it evenly over the whole die with a card or something.

I stopped using that paste crap a long time ago. It's nothing but a mess waiting to happen. Google for frag tape and buy that instead. Easy to put on and take off and can be left in place long term or removed when you need to.
