Hi guys,
i have old 10 GB samsung HDD and giving me lot of problem.
i can copy some data from my new HDD to it but i cant take it back.
i tried this on many PC's but story is same.

i formatted the HDD and then tried to make partitions but windows disk management refuse to make partition the HDD. partition magic 7 is showing HDD is dead (Hdd1 - dead )

i used segate quickformat, DM2000 but none of them can repair or change track0 or master boot record for me. i think problme can be there.

i think there is some problem in track0 because HDD dosent shows any bad sector.

i want to replace track0 to track1.
please help me for that.

Not sure how to mess with tracks and never needed to to be honest. Sounds like a dead drive to me!

U can. Try to get the low level formatting software like Disk manager and low level format it. Some softwares like disk repair also can be used.
