Hi all

need a little help, bought myself a NCCH-DL to house my 2 xeons.

put them both in, booted up.

now, only 1 cpu temp is shown in the bios, in windows, only 1 cpu is working

first thoughts, it has to be the cpu's.

switched the cpu's around (switch sockets) same thing, 1 cpu active.

so that means both cpu's are okay.

took cpu out of socked CPU 1 and left CPU 2 in the comp wouldn't boot

is there a jumped which needs to be set to determine that both sockets are used?
Do i need to set something in the bios?

it doesn't say anything in the manual or on the poor asus site, at the moment i am guessing that the mobo socket is nackard, but i would like some expert advice ;)

cheers

Nuc
