I have mobo asus P4SP-MX and yesterday I buy an HDD external USB and HP printer integrated with scanner. If we want to unplug the HDD ext, in windows XP there is "safe remove hardware" but I can't do that. So I must turn off my computer and unplug my HDD. But if I try to another computer, it can be done safely. Also when I want to print, my printer that plug to USB sometimes it can't print just print in the middle and there's no error message. But when I restart my computer, it's work normally. So I really get confuse. Is it my mobo usb error or I need to update my usb driver or the software error?? Please help me.thx alot

Have you tryed going to your Computer Management and checking your USB drives, you may need to install the HDD drivers and partition it.
