ok i need someone to list each part that will need to build a computer
i will start with waht i know if someone could fill in the empty spots that would be grand

heat sync
fans

eathernet
thats all i can think of

Soundcard and Ethernet are often surplus to requirements as you'll usually find them built into the motherboard, although boards do vary and the quality of intergrated components tend not be as high as those of separate cards. Bearing that in mind you may also want to add cables (IDE and FDC, although again they tend to come with motherboards) and possibly a floppy drive although there's no real need for one nowadays; other than that you pretty much seem to have it all covered unless you require any non standard extras, video caputre card or tv tuner for example.

price limit around $1400 but i need to get a 19" LCD with it too
so the tower/parts i can spend no more then $900
i want to have a computer that i can play games and i want it to be a media center aswell
but i dont need a super gamers computer, just something that can handle AOE3

You can find a 19" LCD for less than $500.

You can get all of that for < $640.

I'm sorry but that monitor is just way overpriced, find the people that actually make it and I'd bet you could save at LEAST $300+.

Just a thought, but choosing socket 939 rather than 754 may give you more options when it comes to future upgrades.

a good 929 board and porcessor will not fit in my price range or i would have
i tryed to get to get the best bang for the buck
the only thing that will be upgraded will be the hd or ram maybe the video but for now i need to stick around these prices

do you think the prices are ok and is there better bang for buck out there
