CD burner keeps ejecting by itself when I don't want it to..

I have a problem in which my CD burner. It ejects every time that I push it in. I am using Windows NT. The burner is a SONY.

I'd greatly appreciate any help you can give me.

I know that with car cd players, if there is a screw that is even 1mm to far screwed into the side then it will not accept a cd. Something could be stuck inside your burner? Just a suggestion.

either check that, and if there is nothing blocking..try to see if it works on another computer

Have You Checked For A Trojan. I know that most trojans have the open close cd function.That Might or might not be the problem

yeah you most prably have some form of adware/spyware u might want to get rid of. searhc google for adaware and download the freeversion and check your computer for adware.

It is unlikely to be spy/adware because something that interferes with computer operation like that is more likely to be considered a virus. Try http://www.housecalls.com I think it is for a free scanner if you don't already have norton or mcafee.
