generally asus makes a well laid out board. Intel is a general preference and debating which one is better is left to the fan boys. until there is a humongous difference in performance between the two, there isn't a clear winner.

Cowkiller - Please don't post overly biased information. You aren't helping anybody at all.

SpooF - Do you have any references to Intel processors being slow? I doubt it. Additionally, we're not talking about an Intel mobo. I'd go for an Asus, Abit, or Gigabyte board.

AMD makes economy chips. They are all about the customer...which translates into the price.

Intel is all staying ahead of the game and putting out the fastest and most powerful stuff. Hence, Intel. Leap Ahead(TM).

I have both Intel-based systems and AMD based systems. There isn't a noticible difference when doing rudimentary stuff, but I DO see a difference when it comes to video rendering.
