Mike you are all over the place for the same problem. It is hard to see what you are talking about if you don't keep it on one post. Just for the future try to keep your info together.
I told you to check out a few sites before. I will give you the links to processors but I don't know anything about your motherboard so I can't tell you these will be the right ones.
First thing is you already have an ADM processor and you'll have to stick with that brand. You should be able to find out the socket type in your computers manual - under mother-board or system-board specs. When you get that info, match it with the processors provided. All processors come with instructions to install, but if you get stuck post it in the Hardware forum.
ADM at tigerdirect
ADM at newegg
You will have to look around to find a processor that you are looking for and stop being so lazy

David, FYI it is AMD not ADM.

Newegg has one Socket A processor and it runs at 1.6GHZ.

I suffer from mild dyslexia or it could be the drugs either or.
But didn't he need a proccessor of at least 1.8GHZ for the NFS Carbon game?

Athlon XP 2800+ are Socket A. I have one in this machine. It's running at 2.08Ghz.

That doesn't mean his mobo will support it. It may only support original athlons and durons.
