In the linksys setup page, go to the wireless tab. Make sure wireless is set to enabled. If the router is still at factory defaults then it should still be broadcasting the "linksys" ssid.

On any wireless enabled xp pc use the zero wireless configuration to check for ssid's. If you don't have xp, then use the wireless tool that came with your adapter.

Does this help or am I just repeating what their techs said?

You can run down to staples and buy this little key chain wifi detector thingy, I think it is like $20.

What os? What does your wireless utility say about a signal? What type of wireless adapter are you using? Have you installed the adapter with no problems on your pc? Is this a desktop or laptop?

Give us as much info as you can about your current configuration, and we can help more.
