Hi ya,

I m new to Cisco hardware and I was trying to change the configuration setting on Cisco827 router. I erased NVRAM in order to load new configuration file. the erased work fine but after that when I try to connect to the router through COM1...... I m not able to see promte what so ever and after clicking some keys I could see some random charators on Hyperteminal which doesn't make any seans.....

Is there any one who can give me some ideas please....if you do not have enough information to understand my question please do ask....I will try to explain it to you as I can.

many thanks

Did you try changing the hyperterminal bits per second for COM1?
